…to 2004. These Posso’s were still getting schooled at their respective so-cal locales. Here we were fresh off the boat from traveling around Europe and having wayyyyy too much fun. Eh-hem. Vanessa was living in Florence and I was traveling all ’round. At some point in Florence we encountered a pair of original spats and my fashion brain shifted/rocked/cracked/…EVOLUTION! All things were suddenly possible. It was like the first time I saw Fight Club.
I loved those white cowboy boots, the leather fringe was executed perfectly–not to cowboy, not too rock, just right. Think I got them vintage in London. What’s up with my silly Diesel leather cuff that I thought was cool? haha. Vanessa rocks some amazing Killah shorts (soooo 04) and we are both wearing Vanessa’s hand-sewn tank designs that she sold out of REPEATEDLY at this clothing store I worked at in college, couldn’t keep em in stock.
This Shapeshifter’s track Lola’s Theme was banging in all the Euro danceclubs then…
but to bring you back from the ’04 flash back I’ll leave you with an almost back to the future ’08 remix of it. We dropped this recently at MJQ’s in Atlanta and I looked over at Felix Da Housecat on the dance floor who seemed to be feeling it cause he had a huge grin on his face. Guess it took him back too.
