As we all know, Charlie Sheen has come unglued. This is part of a long line of untrustworthy media reportings on his boom-boom sniff-sniff parties with young woman, alcohol and cocaine. His course, wild, almost pagan ramblings have interestingly, inspired a younger generation of internet troping youths to latch on to his worlds, and why not when you claim to have “Adonis DNA” and a “bi-winning” mental state.
What’s fascinating semi-interesting about Charlie Sheen, born as Carlos Irwin Estevez, is not that he is a good actor (he is not), it’s that he managed to become the one of the highest paid actor on television and that much of his audience is now lauding the explanations of his “mistakes”, heralding him as some new brand of rambling, tigerblood prophet.
I’m pretty sure that Charlie Sheen is forming the beginnings of a cult. I’m fairly sure that he will succeed in said cult. I’d like to see him take over Scientology and let that mess explode, but I doubt that the Scientarmy would ever let him past the gates.
But is this really a win? Is he taking a giant fail and attempting to make it a win? And what happened to the grey area between win and fail? I suppose if Sheen/Estevez believes it is, then maybe, just possibly it might be. Whatever.
Anyways, let’s pay some attention to a more talented lot:
Below, Los Angeles band, The Sweaters and their amaaaazing song “Can’t Stop Winning”. These guys are the real deal.
